Housing, Utilities, Trash & Roads

Use this guide when something at your home, road or neighborhood needs attention.

If trash was missed or you have oversized trash

Call Yavapai-Apache Public Works at (928) 567-3649. Give your name, service address, callback number, the pickup day and a description of the item. Ask whether your address is on the Nation’s route and whether oversized items require an appointment, fee or special placement.

If there is a pothole, damaged sign or blocked road

Call Public Works at (928) 567-3649. Give the nearest address or intersection, direction of travel and a description of the hazard. If there is immediate danger, call 911.

If water is leaking or sewer is backing up

Call Public Works and, if you live in Tribal housing, notify the Housing Department. Keep people away from sewage or standing water. If water is near electricity, do not touch it; call 911 for immediate danger.

If you need housing or repair help

Ask Tribal Housing whether you qualify, whether there is a waitlist, and which enrollment, income, custody or household documents are required. For non-Tribal programs, call 211 and request Yavapai County housing, repair or eviction-prevention referrals.
