Bills & Basic Needs: Tribal Assistance

If you are an enrolled Yavapai-Apache Nation member and cannot pay an essential household bill, contact Tribal Assistance before the shutoff or due date.

If you need utility help

The Nation’s Tribal Assistance Program application lists possible help with electric, propane or gas, water, sewer and trash bills. Call (928) 649-7147 or email [email protected] to ask about current eligibility, funding and deadlines.

Bring or send

  • Yavapai-Apache Nation enrollment card
  • Current utility bill and shutoff notice, if any
  • Lease, deed or title showing responsibility for the home
  • Any other documents requested by Social Services

If Tribal Assistance cannot cover it

Call 211 and ask for current utility, rent, food and emergency financial-assistance programs in Yavapai County. Ask whether the provider is Tribal, state, county, federal or nonprofit and whether funds are currently open.
